The Council has received the following land related applications:

APPLICATIONS RECEIVED FOR REMOVAL OF RESTRICTIONS (TITLE DEED CONDITIONS) i.t.o SECT. 47/SPLUMA)

·         ERF 216, MILL PARK( 221 CAPE ROAD)(CF14/00216) (VC): Removal of Title Deed conditions to regularise the existing use.

·         ERF 1081, WESTERING (16 UNITED ROAD) (CF27/01081) (LM): Removal of Title Deed conditions to formalise the existing structure and allow further developments.

·         ERF 1327, NEWTON PARK( 4 LUCAS STREET)(CF17/01327) (LM): Removal of Title Deed conditions to permit the extensions on the existing dwelling.

·         ERF 2230, WALMER ( 7 CRANE AVENUE) (CF32/02230) (LM): Removal of Title Deed conditions to permit a granny flat and garage.

·         ERF 3072, KORSTEN ( SUTTON ROAD) (CF13/03072) (NJ): Removal of Title Deed conditions B(b),(d),(e).

APPLICATION RECEIVED FOR TOWNPLANNING AMENDMENT

·         TPA 9540: REZONING ERF 8632, WALMER (CNR NEWCOMBE AVENUE AND SIBELIUS STREET) (CF32/08632) (LM): Amendment to Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by rezoning the Erf from Community 1 to Residential 3C purposes to permit dwelling units at a height of 3 storeys.

APPLICATION RECEIVED FOR TOWNPLANNING DEPARTURE

·         CORRECTION NOTICE - TPD 4791: ERF 4268, FAIRVIEW ( CIRCULAR DRIVE) (CF35/04268) (PV): Departure to increase density from 45 to 100 units per hectare and residential use from 50% to 100% on the whole Erf.

TWO OR MORE APPLICATIONS RECEIVED I.R.O. THE FOLLOWING ERVEN

·         PORTION 95 FARM LITTLE CHELSEANO. 10 ( BUTTERFIELD ROAD) (CF61/00010P95) (LM):

(i)   Removal of Restrictions (Sect. 47/SPLUMA): Removal of Title Deed conditions.

(ii)  Town Planning Amendment (TPA 9541): Amendment to Section 8 Scheme Regulations as contained in LUPO by rezoning portion of the Erf, measuring 80m², from Industrial Zone 1 to Special purposes to permit a cellular tower and related infrastructure.

·         CORRECTION NOTICE - ERF 151, THEESCOMBE ( MONTMEDY ROAD) (CF30/00151) (NJ):

(i)   Subdivision 7563: Subdivision of the Erf into 3 portions, as shown on Plan no. 19016AA1.

(ii)  Town Planning Amendment (TPA 9448): Amendment to Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by rezoning Portion A from Special Environment to Rural Residential purposes and Portion B from Rural Residential to Public Assembly.

·         ERF 3794, FAIRVIEW ( PERMISSION ROAD) (CF35/03794) (NJ):

(i)   Town Planning Amendment (TPA 9526): Amendment to Port Elizabeth Zoning Scheme by rezoning the Erf from Residential 1 to Residential 2.

(ii)  Consolidation: Erven 3794 with abutting Erven 3771-3778 and 3789-3793, Fairview

·         TPA 9539: REZONING OF PORTION 11 OF FARM KLAAS NIEMANDS RIVER NO. 403 (OLD CAPE ROAD/GAMTOOS ROAD) (CF62/00403P11) (FN): Amendment to Farms UTH Zoning Scheme by rezoning the Erf from Agricultural zone 1 to Agricultural zone 2 purposes to permit for a compost business and related uses as an agricultural industry.
