INVITATION TO REGISTER ON SUPPLIER DATABASE
In terms of the MFMA and Supply Chain Management Policy, the Nelson Mandela Bay
Municipality (NMBM) must keep a list of accredited prospective providers of
goods and services that must be used for procurement requirements.
To ensure compliance with the above, suppliers are required to register on
National Treasury's Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the NMBM Supplier Database
(annual re-verification is required).
Step-by-step instructions and forms can be found on the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipal website: www.nelsonmandelabay.gov.za. Hover over 'e-Services', then click on 'Supplier Database Registration' and follow the steps.
Alternatively, application forms can be obtained from the NMBM Supply Chain Management Compliance Office, Harrower Road Depot, intersection of Harrower Road and Stockelbach Road.
It is vital that suppliers keep their compliance documents up to date. When making any changes to the CSD profile, re-verification is required to keep the registration current and valid with NMBM, and to avoid being suspended automatically by the system, which could affect a supplier’s compliance when tendering or smooth progress of payments.
