INVITATION TO REGISTER ON SUPPLIER DATABASE  

In terms of the NMBM Supply Chain Management Policy Section 14, the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality invites prospective suppliers to register on National Treasury’s Central Supplier Database (CSD) and the NMBM Supplier database.  

To register on the NMBM Supplier database, visit the newly launched page at http://www.nelsonmandelabay.gov.za/page/supplier-database-registration 

The new facility also allows suppliers that are already registered, to check their NMBM supplier status and download their Supplier Database Registration Verification Letters. 

Please note that due to the Covid-19 regulations, access to NMBM offices is currently restricted.  Therefore, verification forms and supporting documents will be provisionally accepted via email, i.e. scanned and sent to scmdatabase@mandelametro.gov.za.

Interested parties are requested to note that the Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is considering new lease applications of the thirty four properties stated below, subject to certain conditions.

Any lease of the properties shall be subject to the provisions of the Local Government: Municipal
Finance Management Act. No. 56 of 2003, the Municipal Asset Transfer Regulations of 2008, the NMBM Preferential Procurement Policy (as amended) and the evaluation and adjudication criteria stated therein.

The Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality is considering the Telecommunications Infrastructure lease applications for the above properties, subject to certain conditions.

Any interested parties are required to express their interest in such lease, as stated above or their objections thereto, in writing, in a sealed envelope, clearly marked with the description "Lease of Portion of Erf no", which must be delivered to Capital Asset Management, 5th Floor Mfanasekhaya Gqobose Building; Govan Mbeki Avenue, Port Elizabeth by not later than 16:30 21st  May 2021
